QUESTIONS ABOUT CAPTAPP

If you plan to fish the PCCA we advise you should go to your App Store and download CaptApp. The website is www.captapp.com.  Register your boat and as an angler.  Start using the video and enter your catches to practice before the Tournament.

The video judge needs to clearly see the mainline and leader attachment as well. If the leader breaks while leading the fish that is fine . Cutting away and or hook removal with the fish clearly not attached will be the only videos that are accepted. It’s suggested that you continue filming for 3 to 5 seconds making sure that it’s 100% clear that the fish is no longer connected. PCCA will announce a signal that MAY be used for a back up camera in case of any technical difficulties. We will allow a secondary back up video to aid in verifying a release.

This is the link to CaptApp/presidential what’s app group Q&A . Very helpful and informative . We suggest turning off notifications and checking in from time to time.
